  Holiday Lettings Index reveals that the most popular holiday destination for British tourists are New York, on average, 185 requests for property for the year, London, 115 queries, Amsterdam, 101 queries, Istanbul, 84 queries, and Rio de Janeiro, 81 queries.

  Holiday Lettings notes that investment in new projects in Istanbul and upcoming events in Rio de Janeiro stimulate demand. The capital of Turkey is now among the top five most popular cities, half of all tourists in the country came to Istanbul in response to the efforts of the Turkish authorities to increase the attractiveness of the city, the company said.
